- AAAndyFeb 14, 20241.0Teller and manager refused to help me get a new card, and told that me my cell phone number was wrong, and could not verify my identity. So I just went to a different branch and they helped me get the help I needed in 5 minutes. I went back a week later and this branch confirmed that they thought I was committing fraud, and I was not who I said I was, even though I had brought a working debit card, my PIN, my ID, and my phone. It was strange, though, when I went back the second time, they re-printed my card without confirming my identity beyond the phone number that they (apparently) believed was fake. Logically, that means there was either some oversight here, or my number wasn't wrong in he first place. When I had initially brought up an issue with a teller to a branch manager, I was told I was "being difficult". When this same exact question verbatim was asked 1 week later, the response changed to "yeah, we probably could have handled that better". In addition to this, the manager also told me that when I went through the app on my phone, I had done it "too fast" for him to confirm that it was real - so I asked why the manager "didn't stop me and ask for the information he needed?" "I felt awkward" was the response I got.
