  Over the past year, since the transition in management, my husband and I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of service at this TD Bank location. In the past, we were greeted by name and staff took the time to ask about our family — it truly felt like a community bank. Unfortunately, that welcoming atmosphere no longer exists. I have personally spoken with the current branch manager and was disappointed by the unprofessional tone and negative remarks made about previous management. After reading several reviews, it appears that others have had similar experiences, which leads me to believe this may be an ongoing issue. Additionally, our recent experience involving a long-standing payroll check was handled in a manner inconsistent with past practices. While this situation was frustrating, the greater concern is the poor attitude and lack of professionalism displayed by the current management. As a result, we have decided to close both our savings and checking accounts with TD Bank. This is disappointing, given our many years as loyal customers.

  I wish I could give less than 1 star. There is a reason we are trying to close out our account. I’ve had to go in twice now to try to close it. I called because it still wasn’t closed and instead of offering any support, they talked with me very patronizingly. We are a business account and had been with them for years. This is now just another reason we tell people not to bank with TD!

  Worst bank ever... takes act of Congress just for a simple transaction... having my wife close her acct not worth renting your own money.
