The guy on the phone told me: you don't need an account to get a cashiers check, and there is no limit on amount. When we got to the store, the store manager told us neither of those things is true, and that no one would have told us that. I showed him the call history and then he blamed the other guy there. I don't know if incompetance or dishonesty is to blame, probably a bit of both, but IMO the homeless guy out front knows more about money management than the people who work at this bank.
