- KKKatelyn KampfNov 1, 20251.0Good to know the incompetence of Sandy spring is continued by Atlantic Union!!! Cannot wait to switch my accounts to TD. I came in Friday to send a wire at 2pm. The bank is only open until 4:30 and the lady tells me I cannot send a wire because one person cannot send it alone and the other lady who was sitting right there is overdue for lunch. She recommended going to the next branch 30 miles away or coming back later… and I live over 30 miles away as well. A wire takes 5 minutes to send. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable that I cannot complete a wire transaction with my own money during business hours. Terrible location.

He's never died before... and I haven't had to make any of these decisions before, so naturally I have little to no idea what I am doing. So, I come in with my husband to rectify a block on the account. The woman at the counter went the long way of telling us that we are idiots who don't know what we are doing. Not in those exact words, but her tone was demeaning. No empathy for our recent loss, just snide attitude and the behavior of one being inconvenienced to have to help us out. I appreciate the information on estate accounts, it won't be opened HERE. I'll take my business just about anywhere else and I'm sorry I ruined your day with my dead father and my lack of knowledge about these things. Be better!! Even a smile and a kind attitude goes a long way.
