Who wants to bank at an institution with a 2.2 rating?
We were searching for a local bank to open a new account, and at first, I was stunned by the dismal reviews — surely they had to be wrong. When we walked in, the space was open and comfortable, but something felt off. Long lines. Excessive wait times just to speak with someone. Staff who barely acknowledged customers. Then it hit me: this branch is mismanaged. Leadership isn’t doing what it takes to run a branch efficiently. There’s no cross-training, no effort to show appreciation for customers, and absolutely no respect for people’s time. Giving this bank my business would’ve meant signing up for inconvenience, frustration, and unnecessary stress. We walked out and continued our search elsewhere.

Came into this branch for normal services. The line is to the door. There is no one in the drive through. Employee at drive through isn’t assisting. That’s a problem!!

There is a reason I keep he bulk of my money at Navy Federal. I was quickly reminded of that at this SunTrust today. I asked for a cashiers check which I get every month from the SunTrust in Greenbelt for free. But this SunTrust wants to charge me $8. That would be a negative. If there is a fee, it should be a fee across the board. I have never been charged for a cashiers check so why is it different at this branch. It is always an issue when you walk in this branch. From new debit cards never being ordered as requested to poor customer service. Not EVER going back!! And seriously am thinking of closing all accounts!!
