- JMJason McZara3 days ago1.0The bank should not be able to close a member's account without providing valid reason. I know there is a free-market, but that is not true. The banking industry is heavily regulated, and as a result of those regulations banks like Wells Fargo, Bank of America enjoy qusi-monolopolies. So they are not operating in a free-market and the the bank users are not enjoying free market conditions. Hence the way a bank treats its members should not be as they please either. They cant have it both ways.

A teller named Xochi was bilingual and happened to be courteous to every customer. Thinking of ordering new checkbooks? The San Francisco-based financial services company would be happy to charge you some cash for them. Looking for blank deposit forms? Well, you will be in for a shock. Why? Because this bank branch does not have any of those deposit forms available for you or anyone else. Period. Either you, as a bank customer, must order and pay for those deposit forms from your checking account or use an ATM to make a deposit.

Before we even started, the employee, Adam, suggested the process would take over an hour and a half and seemed reluctant to proceed. He was dismissive, uncomfortable, and unwilling to help, ultimately turning me away. I have other business accounts and have never encountered an issue like this. My business is strong, with five years in operation, solid revenue, and several employees. Despite this, I was turned away for a very silly reason: the LLC abbreviation wasn’t listed on my EIN document, even though it was on all other documents. This has never been a problem before and could have been easily corrected. My information wasn’t even put into the system before I was turned away. Not sure if this is indicative of all Wells Fargo branches, but I would strongly advise against doing business with this one.
