They need more tellers. You’re going to wait at least 30 minutes whether inside or the drive-through. Representatives are nice enough, but the wait is ridiculous!

I went into the Truist branch in Forestville, Md on a Saturday to cash a check written on a Truist cust. acct. What I found out both shocked and surprised me. Aside from the abysmal treatment handed out by the tellers (only 2 tellers with the line reaching past the entry door), I discovered, after waiting in line for about 15 mins, I was to be charged $8 to cash a check written on a Truist bank account because I didn't have a Truist account. Unbelievable. I am presenting a check written by a Truist customer at a Truist branch and I have to pay $8 for the privilege of cashing one of Truist's checks. Again, unfreakingbelievable the greed this shows. Oh, and asking to speak with a manger to explain why I felt the fee should be waived was a no-go since there was no supervisor or manager on duty. I did, however, find the lobby quite nice and smartly arranged--smacked of recent renovations. I can't help agreeing with another Goggle comment--instead of spending the money on the lobby, they should have invested in more training in the area of customer service.

Hire more tellers, please. One full-time teller at lunch, ridiculous! Line of 8! For Godsakes! It's lunchtime! Customers deserve more!

I’ll definitely give credit when it’s due. I do share positive experiences along with the not so positive with the same energy. I’ve been a Truest member for about 5-6 years now. I’ve have dealt with the Falmouth VA, Waldorf MD, & Woodbridge VA locations in my past. I have NEVER encountered the bottom shelf customer service that I’m experiencing today. I came into the branch knowing very well from experience. That I was going to need to have a sit down with a branch member, to resolve my issue. There’s no sign in sheet (time stamped paper trail). I talked to a bank representative that instructed me to take my specific issue and request to the counter rep…. It’s Friday November 29. The day after Thanksgiving…. One of the 2 busiest days of the week. Out of 6 service windows. Not including the drive thru window which is open too. There’s 2 bank clerks. Out of 5 offices here. There are only 2 clerks in the offices helping customers. Remind you that I came into the bank with no customers ahead of me for the sit down attention that I needed. Now it’s been a hour gone…. I’m sitting here with 4 people ahead of me. If my experience told me that the window wasn’t going to be able to help me. Why wasnt a bank manager/ employee able to make the same assessment/ educated guess. assumptions, etc….. Now why did she redirect my concern to window clerk that has limited time, abilities, accessibility to help me. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I’ve never witnessed such disregard for a customer’s time in my life.
