  My experience with Wells was very bad on 11/14/2024. I received a letter from wells fargo saying that my name doesn’t match with my social, which was very weird. I called back office and they told me to come to the branch. I went to this location at around 4 pm, no one came to me until 4:10 pm. Then the lady said you don’t have an appointment so we won’t be able to help you today. I was like, this branch closes at 5 pm and you are telling me you can’t help me 50 minutes prior just because another person is opening account? That is insane. I know i don’t have an appointment but how is that fair to the customer to go back for not having an appointment 50 minutes before branch closing? I hardly go to branch cause everything can be done online. Now this is something that bank wanted me to come to branch because apparently my name doesn’t match with my social. Also, just letting you know that while I opened account in Glen Burnie branch, that banker said my whole name doesn’t fit to the box so she had to remove part of my last name. And now, bank asks me to come to the branch to fix it while that is not even my fault. On top of it when I went to branch, bank says to go back cause they can’t take me? I am sure if i had to open new account, credit card or do home loans or something, they would have definitely taken time to help me but nobody wants to take client who has to make changes on the account. I used to work for bank for 4 plus years and never in my day, i made customers to go back, while my branch used to get closed at 4 pm but i always made sure that i took care of customers even though they entered in branch one minute prior to branch closing time. I think Wells Fargo has very different & unique culture of treating clients. I had to leave from work early so I could get to the branch on time and they told me that they couldn’t help me 50 minutes prior of branch getting closed. That is so unfair to me as a client. If you don’t want to take clients with no appointments then just print on a paper and stick on your door so everyone knows about it.
