- JTJeny ThomasOct 16, 20251.0Worst experience ever. I was perfectly happy with Sandy Spring Bank. The bank merged or got Bought out I don’t even know what happened and now I get charged a three dollar fee every time I use the ATM. I live far away so I can’t go to a local branch to use the ATM or get help. 3 dollars every time I use the atm would add up real quick because I use atms a lot due to being so far away from my bank. I called the Customer Care and they need to email the branch where I opened my account and call me back within 24 hours just to tell me where I can use an ATM for free if that’s even possible. This is ridiculous. That’s not Customer Care.
