- FWFisher WangJul 4, 20251.0Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional, Inconsistent, and Arrogant Service This is by far the worst TD branch I’ve encountered in my 20 years of banking with TD – both personally and through multiple business accounts and Waterhouse. Similar negative experiences have happened before, but my recent visit this past Wednesday was unacceptable: 1 - Despite verifying my identity using my access card and PIN, the teller still insisted on seeing a personal ID with no clear reason or explanation. 2 - I attempted to deposit one bank draft and two business cheques. Shockingly, all three were rejected because they "didn't want any risk". 3 - The Customer Experience Manager (last name White) was extremely rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen or provide any support. Rather than offer solutions, he told me to “visit another branch or try the ATM.” Immediately afterwards, I visited the Kenaston TD branch, where the teller completed all the deposits without any issue. The branch manager Jeff was professional and welcoming – a complete contrast to my experience earlier. Despite calling TD Customer Care and being told the Bridgwater branch manager (Grace) would follow up, I have yet to receive any response. If necessary, I will escalate this to TD’s senior complaints office. Based on recent reviews, I now see that my experience is not an isolated case. I strongly urge others who’ve had similar encounters to file a formal complaint. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and consistency. I am now considering moving my banking to another institution, simply because I can no longer trust or rely on my nearest TD branch.
