- TPTonn Cao, Ph.D.Mar 6, 20231.0Unprofessional and Needs New Management. I moved to Ptown 2 years ago and was fine with this branch. However, the past 6 months or so, their services have gone from mediocre to horrific. They would count your cash and disclose your account numbers in front of other customers, and they don't put your cash into a bag for you. Worst yet, when I spoke with the manager about these issues, she told me to count them in her office and to bring my own bag. Today, I went in to deposit a large check to close on a property in a few days. The manager said because it's such a large amount, she can't guarantee it clear before closing. When I questioned the reason since I have done many large deposits before, she said they needed to verify if I had money in that account, and asked if she could speak with my relationship manager at that bank. It was just offensive given I had made a number of large transactions at this branch before (and I live down the street). She made me feel like I was trying to scam them out of the funds when I have been a customer for nearly 20 years. I will be transferring my money to another local bank.
