  I usually go to the Fitchburg branch but because I was already out and about and it was closer, I went to Lancaster. Every week I go in to deposit my payroll check, and they’re able to clear it immediately for me because it’s payroll. This new bank wouldn’t do it, meaning I’d have to wait all weekend to get the money I earned. The guy was asking a bunch of questions such as where I work even though it says on the check, acting like I’m doing something wrong. Meanwhile there’s three people helping one lady so I had to wait a while to even be helped. Definitely won’t be back, and I definitely don’t recommend this location.

  Workers credit Union in Lancaster MA. wouldn't cash a check Drawn on the bank with my ID they wanted a social security number and way too much information terrible bank to deal with I've heard this for years but when someone writes you a check you better off going to their bank to cash it, So I thought. The website advertises several locations which are closed I found out by going to 3 of them before ended up in Lancaster where I thought I was going to have to give up my first born in order to cash a check you shouldn't need to give social security number and all this information from a person to cash a check at the bank is drawn on! I live in Sterling and heard people complain for at least the past 25 years about the bank in Lancaster now I know why! Get it together or get out of the banking business! 👎👎👎👎👎 And they won't let me post this without giving it a rating so I have to guess click at least one star which they don't deserve even that! More BS from a bank!

  As always you can expect to get nothing more than Excellent service at the Lancaster WCU branch, have been a member for many years and Highly Recommend them to all. Great Staff.

  It's a total robbery. I've been waiting for two months for them to send me a check and I don't get any answers from them!

  UPDATE: A branch supervisor called me and was extremely rude about the original complaint I made. Calling me after 5pm for one is extremely rude as I am in working class. She was very aggressive and argumentative because I left a review and told me that I was more than welcome to close out my account with them and was especially saying we wont do anything to correct this mistake. I will add she openly admitted to the bank charging me 3x for the same purchase and confirmed it was not the restraunts fault. (I already intended on doing so). 1 star is too much if you ask me Never had an issue, but I used my card to go out to a restraunts a week ago, the transaction after tip was completed yet the bank had a hold on it for what I paid, which is charging my account 2x. I called and spoke to a woman who seemed to not be very educated as to why this bank does things like that. Not only did it kick back a auto pay bill I had, but it put me in the negatives, when I had the money for all of these transactions. Needless to say, do not use this bank because its nothing but a headache. I will be going to the branch and closing the account this week. 1 star is too much if you ask me.
