- BGBill GuildMay 29, 20241.0Don't use this bank. There are plenty of other banks that are more helpful and even fare in resolving fraud. TD Bank has continually denied my dispute over a stolen debit card. The card was stolen from my uncle in a locked memory care unit of a nursing home. He can not leave the ward and is incapable of using a phone never mind the internet. The stolen card was used buy beauty products, pizza, and to pay a utility bill for an account over a thousand miles away from the nursing home. TD Bank alerted me to the fraud and I closed the card. The police are actively investigating. TD Bank now refuses to reverse the transactions claiming that the transactions are not fraud because "no attempt was made to use the card after it was closed." The fraudulent transactions depleted the account and now my uncle can't pay his nursing home bill. TD Bank Doesn't care.
