I came in today to do the same and they now require your social security number. And they ask you out loud in the middle of the room where there are other customers standing in line that can hear your social. I’m not one to treat my SSN like a phone number so they were unable to do the deposit. My landlord lives in FL and is retired and not too mobile anymore unfortunately so for her to go out to the bank with a check to deposit it is a lot for her. I’d mail a check all day but it’s not convenient for her. She is the TD customer that they should care about…I explained this…And the geeky kid with dark hair and glasses…makes me never want to step foot in this branch again. That kid definitely feels entitled and talks down. I just started a business and was going to open a business checking with them once I received my EIN due to how convenient this branch used to be. Not any more. Looks like DCU just got another customer.
