Everytime I come to First Franklin in Sulphur, I have a great experience. Everyone is very friendly and eager to help. I recommend this place to anyone that needs extra cash.

I recently received a mail in check for a pre-approved unsecured loan offer and noticed First Credit Heritage happened to be local. I drove over to the office and spoke with Sheree Ashworth, Assistant manager. Sheree seemed eager to make a deal, trying to offer me more than the mail in check. We went over loan terms and i refused to take more money informing her I would only accept the loan to build my credit that I didn’t need the cash and went to a local bank to cash the mail in check. The bank didn’t cash the check but directed me back to the creditor to get a printed check. I then went back to First Heritage and spoke with Sheree again. She informed me to get a printed check I would have to apply for the loan in her office which was fine as long as all terms were the same. Before getting my credit ran or doing any kind of paperwork I asked twice to confirm the loan was exactly the same unsecured loan as the mail in check and all loan terms remained the same where I was assured everything was the exact same. After running my credit (700+ credit score) and submitting prove of residency, bank statements and identification I was put in a back room to wait on final paperwork. Thirty or so minutes later another woman came in the back room asking for collateral for the loan which I was not informed about before the credit check or time spent doing approvals. I refused to give collateral and refused the loan at which point Sheree and her manager came in the room informing me that even tho the mail in check was an unsecured loan the in store approval was a secured loan and required collateral. I was told all terms were the same before doing any loan approvals and wasn’t informed of any collateral required until this point. The experience was very unprofessional and the managers didn’t even care they bold face lied about the loan terms before running my credit. I would suggest anyone away from this establishment as I am currently waiting to hear back from my lawyer about my concern of being lied to before getting my credit checked.

I have spoke with the people at this place for two months, now I called and let them that the person they renewed a loan with was in ICU, than she moved to rehabilitation center for and extended stay, she was there for a week maybe a week and half and was rushed to ST. Pats in Acute renal failure where she stayed for a week. Than was moved back to the rehabilitation center. Bare in mind I have in no uncertain terms explained to these people that we are not sure if she is ever going home. All they are concerned with is about is a payment on a loan that they should have never renewed in the first place. I even stated I would like to know how my mom was able to renew a loan when she wasn't able to get out of her chair. They haven't gotten the result they wanted talking to me, so they decided to hound a 75 year old while in the rehabilitation center. To say these people are lacking in common decency is an understatement
