Not sure if they have money in the bank at daytime but nighttime trying to do transactions was god awful business.

I’m writing to commend Ashley, a Branch Ambassador at this Capital One location, for her truly outstanding professionalism.
Today marked my fourth attempt to resolve an issue involving an HOA account update — a process that had become increasingly frustrating due to conflicting guidance and lack of clarity at other branches. Each prior visit left me uncertain about what was needed, despite providing all requested documents.
Ashley changed everything.
With poise, professionalism, and clear command of the process, Ashley reviewed my paperwork and supporting documentation — and efficiently completed what others had not. She added me to the account and removed outdated signers and controllers, and fully restored access and security to the account.
She did all of this with calm focus and helpfulness that completely turned my experience with Capital One around.
It’s also worth noting that while I was at the branch, every customer who walked by her desk greeted her by name and seemed genuinely happy to see her. That says everything. Ashley is not just good at her job — she’s clearly respected and valued by the community she serves.
I sincerely hope Capital One recognizes what a true professional they have in Ashley.

Overall I really like Capital One but the location in the French Quarter is horrible. The tellers in general are not the warmest people. Every other location seems to have staff that care about the customer, not in the Quarter. When you need more in depth help, they have you sign in to an iPad and wait. Literally an hour when one customer is in front of you. It is annoying when you hear them socializing and talking about stuff that has nothing to do with banking. The last 3 time I have tried this branch I have left before being called very frustrated. This time I am determined to wait it out. It has been over 1/2 hour and still waiting. But I can tell you about the staff lady and the customers personal life. Very frustrating.
