- DHdavid hotardMay 7, 20191.0Debit was stolen the week before last... ran my account to the negative spoke to a woman on that Thursday! A new card was sent out and she told me it takes 24 hours to get the funds back that was taken, even admitted to knowing the card was taken before I even called! Checked my account, no funds, called them back, oh it’ll be 10 business days! Ok, it’s been ten business days and still no funds! I call them back and one lady didn’t recognize my account, I been a customer for like five years! I finally get someone on the phone and she gives me the run around something about “oh you need a case number” there was never a case filed.. so then she wants me to file a case... a case should’ve been filed the day I called not 10 days later when I’m supposed to receive my funds.. but you know something like this happened a year ago with the atm taking my money and not putting it in my account I called they ran me around but I was pretty nice about it... now I understand how their policy works if you lose your money anyway shape or form even if it’s by their machine! They will not pay for it! Cause I’m such a nice person and I love capital one so much everytime I get the chance I will steer people away from this bank! I will be removing my money from capital one as soon as I get the chance! What a bunch of damn sorry crooks!
