- GWGreg WMar 7, 20205.0I began working with Tex Morris at his office here. Over the years, he’s given me sound investment advice and helped me concentrate on the goals my wife and I set while growing our portfolio according to our higher level of risks we were wanting at that time in our lives. Since then, we’ve been lucky enough to manage my self-employment and her position with a great Baton Rouge company so that we could maximize both our contributions almost the entire time we’ve been with Tex. Jamie started helping to oversee our investments several years ago and he’s been very reliable and straightforward, just like Tex. Jamie has helped us reach our investment goals whenever we did our part. And their office staff is second to none. Whenever we had some bumps in the road, Jamie, like Tex, helped us stay calm and keep our goals in sight. He took over our portfolio at one of our darkest years of our investment experience. Whenever we had to withdraw some of our nest egg for a family emergency, he helped us steer through the storm by showing us the most favorable options, all the while informing us of the penalties our withdrawal would incur. After we surfaced from that self-created debt, Jamie lead us back to maximizing our contributions and growth from investing in products to maximize our return to where we topped out prior to our withdrawals. My wife and I would highly recommend Tex and Jamie to anyone looking for a financial advisor. They’re both personable, yet professional to the two of us. We have been encouraging our son and daughter to plan a visit at their office when they think they will be ready to start saving for their futures soon. They certainly helped us to be on par with our goals throughout our marriage, whenever we decided to better manage our future. It started with a simple recommendation by our CPA.
