I'm posting this review based on my concerns regarding an unresolved issue with my safety deposit box. Despite my repeated attempts (three phone calls, and one in person visit) to address this matter, it has now been 18 days without a response from ANYONE at Truist.
I have tried contacting someone at the branch multiple times, both over the phone and in person, but have not received any follow-up or communication (they told me at the branch today, I would need to wait 40 minutes to talk to a person).

Truist should not be trusted!
How sad that since Truist has taken over nothing but issues.
Extensive turnover, the customer service that was there is no longer. Everyone that had given great service has disappeared.
Truist seems to have a policy of bait and switch in their offering of CD and money market that I have never experienced before. Such unbelievable interest rate reduction in a renewal that drops from 4.5% to 0.01 %! Of course revealed AFTER renewal grace period, not before.
Same with money market account after the first year. Had never heard of such a drastic drop in the introductory rate! ( Not to mention the existence of an introductory rate in the first place) That's the interest they pay in checking account, expected. But a CD and money market?? Come on, unacceptable!
At least the money market was free to move back to checking so it could be transferred out to a real brokerage money account.
Sadly same can't be said for the CD. Truist is happy to get you there as well. $20 charge for cancelling the CD after finding out the new interest rate. Thank you so much Truist. I'll put that $20 charge under " stupid for trusting the bank".
Totally have lost faith and trust in Truist.
Worse, can't get new branch manager to return calls. Online chat apologies and files complaint.. gee thanks.. so appreciate, NOT!
I'm switching after 30 years.
Just be careful with Truist, they are not to be trusted with your money.
