Despite my repeated attempts (three phone calls, and one in person visit) to address this matter, it has now been 18 days without a response from ANYONE at Truist. I have tried contacting someone at the branch multiple times, both over the phone and in person, but have not received any follow-up or communication (they told me at the branch today, I would need to wait 40 minutes to talk to a person).

The online banking team seemed not knowing what they do and misled the directions. Normally even if the online banking team can help customers with opening the checking account with bonus option but they said they cant verify my phone number, I mean I don’t have any accounts with truist and want to open one, how can they say they can’t verify my number in any ways?!?! And they misled me to the local branch saying that branch would be able to help me with this problem; but the local branch told me that they can’t help me with the checking account with bonus option, it would just be the checking account without bonus. I was like what the heck of their services be like this to customers?! So horrible services don’t know what they do.
