  We prefer this location because the staff know us. Teresa Bandy is our go to person. She was very helpful when we almost lost our home in 2007. She helped get our account balanced when our mortgage company sold our account to a new mortgage company in 2018/2019. Mrs. Bandy was there again for us when we refinanced our home. Central Bank has always been very prompt to notify us of any suspicious activity on our account. They thoroughly investigate fraud or theft of any debit cards and are quick to prevent the unauthorized use of the card. This is the only Banking Association that I've had since moving to Ky in 1997 and I have always been very happy and satisfied with them.

  Overdraft fees are very unfair. I signed up for an app and linked it to my account to watch my budget. The App put 3 cents in my account and took 2 cents out to verify my account was active. The bank charged me 32 dollars for the transaction. I called the bank the same day I saw the overdraft happened on my mobile banking app and asked if I could pay it the same day to avoid the 32.00 overdraft they said no because the 3 cent charge went through yesterday and the 32 dollars were already pending. I found this very weird because when I called about the overdraft the teller at first could not even see the charge. I had to tell her to double check. Basically, even if I called and asked my balance they would not have told me an overdraft fee was coming. Unfortunately no matter what they were going to charge me 32 dollars for a 2 cent transaction and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it even though it was pending and did not post. I belive this to be very shady practices. My advice make sure you don't have overdraft protection it is a scam. The people that work there are nice but the way they make money off the backs of the poor is very sad.
