I’m truly disappointed with the level of customer service I’ve received lately. I recently called the bank with a simple question regarding a transaction on my account. Rather than taking the time to ask for my name or even attempt to look into the issue, the person on the phone immediately dismissed me with, “No, there’s nothing we can see on our end.” The lack of effort and concern was frustrating and disheartening.
Trying to give the benefit of the doubt, I assumed it might have just been a bad day. However, when I later visited the drive-thru to deposit funds, the teller greeted me with, “You know you can do this at the ATM,” in a tone that made me feel like a burden rather than a valued customer.
This kind of attitude makes it hard to want to continue banking here. It feels like the staff are unhappy in their roles, and unfortunately, that energy is passed on to customers. I hope the bank takes this feedback seriously and invests in improving the customer experience.

If I could give this bank a negative star I would. I have banked with truist for over 10 years and switch to the Falmouth branch 3 years ago. They place holds on checks even if they confirm the other institution has the funds if your account does not have the funds to cover the deposit. Isn't that the point of a deposit? The customer doesn't have to have the funds the entity writing the check has to cover the funds. They say a 7 day hold but they mean 7 business days and count Saturday as a non business day even through Saturdays are open at other branches. Then when your seven days is up you would think you get your money right? Wrong! They refuse to lift the hold until the end of the business day!! They staff is rude the manager raises her voice in the phone and they just blame everything in "the back office". They wont let you speak to the "back office or tell you who is working in the "back office " they just due the blame game. Meanwhile you have thousands of dollars pending that they are received their payment for but refuse to release the hold and give you no good reason why. They have zero empathy, could care less that all of your bills come out the first of the month. They'd rather let you go in the negative or worse let checks bounce or utilities get shut off to prove their point and hold your thousands hostage because the manager doesn't like your attitude. They take your check hold it refuse to give it back so you can go somewhere else to cash it then treat you like you are low life if you have an issue. I've never dealt with such a rude callus bank manager and staff in all my life. As long as you have lots of money they treat you nice...but go through a hard time and funds get low then you no longer are a decent person to this staff. Do your self a favor if you need a bank in Falmouth. go to 5/3rd where the staff and managers are pleasant to deal with and assist their customers during a crisis vs raising their voice and being rude. The corporate office needs to give this staff training in customer service and empathy. Worst branch ever!
