  GREAT SOUTHERN BANK IN DE SOTO, KANSAS IS THE BEST IN THE BIZ! HANNAH- YOU SHOULD BE PRESIDENT! Actually, I have never encountered even an average employee at this bank. EVERYONE is always absolutely incredible. Let’s talk about Hannah first. I have known her for a long time, as well as Lauren (Also AHHHHMAZING). Lauren is my go to gal for all things. My husband and I moved to Arizona a few years ago. Prior to that we lived in De Soto and raised our kids there. Part of our weekly routine would be to bring the kids in to tend to their little savings account. I say little because they were just that in the beginning. It would always take so much time because we have four kids. As I mentioned at the time we were not talking about a great deal of money. Great Southern, Hannah, Lauren, and all of the amazing staff treated our kids accounts like they were millionaires. They were their top clients (in our eyes). Over the years- all four kids (who are no longer kids) have kept their GSB accounts. They absolutely LOVE GSB and continue to get the same treatment over all of these years. The girls know them all by name (which is impressive bc they all look alike). My oldest said when he has kids he will bring them in to open accounts and only to GSB in DeSoto! He lives in Overland Park. I LIVE IN ARIZONA! I will never give up my GSB accounts not only bc it is the best bake for so many reasons but mostly bc of HANNAH, LAUREN AND ALL THE OTHERS. It totally has to be a prerequisite to be the world’s best employees to work at this bank. I have witnessed this since 2006. Before we joined GSB I researched about the bank itself. I discovered that it was a very strong bank, it was easy to access my money, offered online and app based banking but what I learned that was most important to me came thru the years with its employees that provided the best customer service and became like family to us. They treat us like family and have for 18 years. That is why my whole family will remain loyal to GSB bc they have been loyal and trustworthy to us. They go the extra mile ALL OF THE TIME! I always have random questions for Hannah and she always has the answers. Lauren is the same. I feel like my kids have grown up with this bank and GSB has been the village that has helped along the way. I think GSB is partially responsible for the reason why all four of my kids are financially very savvy and saving. I remember sitting with Lauren (I believe) and opening their accounts and talking about saving. They were even educating them all those years ago. I just do not have enough praise and thanks for Hannah, Lauren and all GSB DeSoto employees. They are very special and amazing at what they do. I truly miss being able to go in to the bank and walk out feeling like I am their favorite person on the planet. Hannah- a million thanks and a million stars to you for being so bright, incredible and the best in the biz! You are a Godsend- all of the time. FOREVER YOUR BIGGEST FAN GSB!

  Great bank, the tellers are really friendly and easy to work with. I feel safe that newer tellers ask to verify my identity until they recognize me. It has a nice hometown feel to it, but there are a lot of services provided. They have a nice app that is easy to use.
