  I lost $3,300 and counting depositing a check through Everwise because what was supposed to be 2 days to clear ended up taking 5 days, and since they’re closed on the weekend I was unable to inquire about transferring my funds for another 2 days. now it is Monday, I had to wait until 11am for them to open and view my messages, I have not received a response and lost my optimal position which would have been on Saturday that would’ve yielded me $3,300 more than today in my investments. I ended up just sending a message through the the portal to close my account because their leisurely pace and lack of resources on weekends had been a disservice to my financials and I need a bank that actually cares about my money. I don’t know what the delay was for, I trusted Everwise in a split second decision to have almost 7 grand deposited thinking it would deposit faster and with fewer errors than a mobile app that would need additional processing and verification. I was wrong and it was an expensive mistake for me. $3,300 and counting subtracted from 26,700, or in other words, 11 points gone. Not taxes, not fees, leisure, indifference, and fumbling error. I would make Everwise your last resort for a bank account. They refuse to finance a loan even secured loans like with those where a vehicle is used as collateral like I tried, I even offered a judgment debt that they could use as collateral that was worth 6,000 at a 9 point vig. Refused to finance a private vehicle sale of 18,000 when I was worth atleast 28k. The interest yields are basically nonexistent, there’s no real reason to hold your funds at this bank, it’s not like you’re gonna get more than a penny on the dollar. There’s a reason why they have 1 star down the line on yelp, and probably on here too. I should’ve known, and should’ve stuck with my gut. Now I’m hurting because of their slow pace, I wouldn’t even be surprised if they didn’t complete the wire today and I have to wait til after Thanksgiving. Thank you everwise for dropping the ball, I hope whatever interest you made during these 8 or so days is worth never seeing the full 62k, no wait I’m sorry.. 58,700k that I’ll be worth by march. Thanks a bunch. Closing my account today.
