- LTLinda TimmonsMay 6, 20242.0Since Flagstar updated in February I have not been able to log in or activate my account. I have called many times for help and they tell me I will receive an email. Haven't received one yet. I even went to the bank and talked with someone and was supposed to get e-mails back . None We have been with Wells Fargo for almost 50 years never had a problem til Flagstar took over. Thinking about closing account if I can't get into my own account.

Also in trying to setup online banking for a business account I've been asked multiple times to submit a form with my social security number to them via email. You should never transfer any sensitive information through regular email. Encrypted email would be different but that's not typical. I miss Wells Fargo. Update 1/23: I'm in the process of moving all of our accounts away from Flagstar as they continue to steal money from my business checking because I'm not currently using it. Makes perfect sense. I'm done with this joke of a bank. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.
