  Life is busy, and people are pulled in a dozen different directions on any given day. As a surgeon, I am no exception to this. As I spend the majority of time caring for patients and my family, I do not have the desire or energy at the end of a long day to consider all the intimate details of my own personal finance. I am fortunate to have found Mr. Ryne Otis to help me with this. In my last two years working with Ryne, he has been instrumental in helping me manage disability insurance, retirement accounts (both Roth and traditional IRAs), and various other aspects of my personal finance. Ryne has been incredibly helpful, and I sleep well at night knowing someone is managing my finances based upon my goals and needs rather than just using my hard-earned income to chase a commission. Mr. Otis always has my best interest in mind, listens to my thoughts, and translates that into action and results which I understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a financial adviser.

Ryne has help our medical practice expand tremendously by bringing in highly sought medial professionals through meticulously formulated buy-in opportunities and exit strategies, specifically for our surgeons. Ryne has also been a true blessing to our family by helping with us with our personal financial planning.   Ryne Otis has the background, knowledge, and degrees to show his highly articulate and detailed work in his financial planning for business owners and non-profits. Ryne has help me, and many other business owners we work with; regarding multiple giving strategies with non-profits. He takes the most complex situations and simplifies them in a way we can understand and relate. He knows the tax codes just as well (if not better) than our CPAs, when it comes to philanthropic planning strategies. We’ve learned so much regarding private foundations and other ways larger business can save money. He is always continuing to learn, grow, and adapting to the new tax laws, estate laws, and retirement changes. For any business owner or non-profit, I highly recommended Ryne!

  After 38 years as a physician, I was referred to Ryne Otis by my colleagues upon retiring. Mr. Otis now manages my investments, retirement planning, estate planning, and more. In the four years we’ve worked together I am amazed at how much knowledge he has. I have had several financial planners in the past (Merrill Lynch, Raymond James, TD Ameitrade, and another Edward Jones advisor) and none of them compare to how impressive I am of Mr. Otis’s knowledge. My past experiences with financial planners was about selling me products, trying to guarantee me income, or bringing in other ‘experts’ to pitch me an idea about lowering my taxes. Mr. Otis was not like this at all. He took time to get know me, my medical practice, my family, and what was important to us before making any recommendations. He is laid back, transparent, and very professional. He also helped with my CPA and attorneys with issues they weren’t aware I had. I would highly recommend Mr. Otis and his staff to any high net worth individual in the Indianapolis area.
