KeyBank has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They cancelled my credit card that earned points I had been using toward my wedding—with zero warning and refused to honor the points. They stopped auto-payments to my line of credit without informing me, which resulted in a ding on my credit report.
I’ve made multiple cash deposits where they counted the money correctly in person but entered it wrong in the system, shorting me funds. Even after showing them my receipts, they wouldn’t fix it at the branch. It took THREE MONTHS and numerous calls to corporate to finally correct the deposit.
Every time you call, they bounce you from department to department, requiring you to re-verify your identity each time. They refuse to return emails or phone calls.
I’ve never had a single problem with Huntington Bank, but every interaction with KeyBank has been a problem.
STAY FAR AWAY from KeyBank!

Customer service is absolutely awful and can’t expect them to help when you have any issues. The number on the back of my card isn’t even the real number for the helpline. Once you do get a hold of the helpline they don’t help you and just say you have to go into the branch.
