I worked with Eric today, who promptly recalled my name from our meeting several days ago. He was very knowledgeable about the type of transaction I was requesting and was able to answer all of my questions. Great experience. Thank you, Eric.

I've been with PEFCU for almost 15 years. Don’t, don’t use them—especially, don’t visit this branch. If you need to update information on your loan, change the payment date, or request a deferment, get ready to strap in because this credit union will forget to send you the necessary paperwork until you remind them. They will need to talk to several other departments and won’t follow up with you on what’s going on. Not to mention, their systems take almost a month to update the changes, so there will be a lot of confusion on your part in the meantime. Everything I need done above a simple transaction with a branch employee is painful. I get a splitting headache every time.
They operate like a debt collection agency. They only act urgently when you’re a few days late on a payment. You’ll receive constant letters and phone calls from the loss mitigation department. One time, a representative told me that a few-days-late payment “does not affect your credit; however, it affects your reputation with the credit union.” As if that’s a real lending standard. They have completely lost it.
The loss mitigation department does not, and can’t, leave notes on your account for the branch employees, and vice versa, so there is a huge disconnect between the two. The branch employees hardly ever leave notes on your account in general, so if you have an issue, make sure to get the name of the employee you worked with—you’ll need it.
Don’t even get me started on the mobile app. Good lord. When they have software updates or maintenance breaks, in a few instances, it’s taken up to three days where you can’t do literally anything—not even access fast balances. Randomly, when I try to transfer between accounts to pay my credit card, I get a random “for security reasons, we cannot do this transfer at this time” error.
I stayed so long for the rates, but I just can’t take it anymore. After I pay off my car loan, I’m done. Their service doesn’t resemble anything remotely close to what a credit union should be. Go elsewhere.

Everytime you call when the contact center isn't open you can't get any help with the automated system. And you can't even directly get ahold of someone at the nearest bank. They need better ways to solve card issues. And put a direct number to the bank. Probably gonna start losing customers.
