Centra Credit Union began when eight employees of the Cummins Engine Company came together to find a convenient place to save their hard-earned money while having access to low-cost credit. This foundational principle of "People Helping People" led to the growth of Centra Credit Union and is still at the center of who we are. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our profits go back to you in the form of cash rewards, better rates, and lower fees. - AMAmber MooreDec 20, 20251.0I'm not a member with Centra but used their ATM because they were listed as a shared branch on the coop site. I went to do a withdrawal and it said a $2.50 surcharge. I paid it because I drove all the way there and didn't have time to go anywhere else. I suggest Centra removes themselves from the shares branch site because it's false and a sneaky way to make $. I WILL NEVER USE CENTRA AGAIN! I will also tell everyone I know not to use them as well! My credit union is Family Horizons which is part of shared branching!
