- JSJonathan SmartSep 10, 20231.0If I could give 0 stars, I would have. Purely because they make it as difficult as possible to get your money. Had a friend write me a check for several thousand they owed me, drawn off of beacon, and I was told they couldn’t cash it because of “company policy” that says non-members can’t cash checks about $1,000 there. Funny. I drove to beacon in Wabash and they cashed the $7,200 check for me without batting an eye. (I don’t do business with either beacon). Lies, deceit, and another example of a “credit union” or bank making it as difficult as possible to get money that’s rightfully yours.
