- TBTim BitzelDec 23, 20241.0Refused to process a check they believed to be a fraudulent check i was mobile depositing, snd I believed the check to be goo but they refused to process the check and locked my account I was told by Kristin that I needed to come person to the branch with my ID which I did and they still refused to process the check. I just wanted them to send it through the system like any other check and if it processed it then we would know it was good . Snd if not it would decline the check like any other check. But they still refused to process the check snd refused to unlock my account snd put me on 30 days notice that my account is closed and I csn no longer use my debit card. And I kept the account open with a small balance in it because I had qualified for a $200 bonus for having 5 thousand dollars in direct deposits which u met that requirement as a result of 3 months auto deposit for my SSDI check. And the branch manager Brian had the nerve to suggest i was playing games just to get the $200 bonus cash which i had qualified for . I opened my account at old National to be my primary bank account. I never even knew about the bonus untill the young man singing me up said oh you can also qualify for bonus cash if you have consecutive months of direct deposit of 3,000$ or more , and of course I said yes sign me up I gave him my info on what would be direct deposited into my account, which was my SSDI check. And im sure they will try to screw me out of thay when it comes time to pay me the achieved bonus. The branch manager was completely out of line accusing me of playing games worst customer service and banking experience I've ever had never will have a good thing to say about old National in Ellettsville. Branch manager Brian is terrible and a terrible excuse for someone in a management position. Pathetic.
