I called them when my mom was dying and asked them to freeze her account, the cleaning woman had gotten her debit cancelled and then ordered her a new one, she had my mom's and aunt's permission to use the card and her check book, I didn't like it. But they said I didn't have that authority, and I needed a lawyer. After my mom died I got a lawyer, submitted the death certificate, they verified it and sent it back. Then I submitted the court documents, showing I'm the personal representative, and they said that based on those, they changed their mind, and they can't tell me why because I'm not named beneficiary. Now I find out that they didn't record the death certificate, they didn't enter it in their system, they said they looked into it, but they still don't understand or won't admit that my mother is deceased, so they never contacted anyone about her will, they didn't look into anything. They left her account open. For the cleaning woman. Why would they look to see who the beneficiary is, or who the trustee is they need to contact, if they don't believe the death certificate I sent them is real? The post office verified it. I forwarded the mail to me, and they're still sending her letters like she's alive. If they think she's alive then they should tell the trustee and the trustee should be reporting me, to the police... and if they believe she's deceased why do they keep sending her letters?

Just opened an account here, called for my first time today for assistance with my account and the Branch Manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. Terrible customer service.
