- RSRay of SunshineJun 27, 20192.0I remember receiving in the mail that Wells Fargo was being acquired by Flagstar. I was absolutely mortified that my 6+ years with a bank was being tossed aside. Thankfully, I moved and have my service back. But driving from Michigan to Angola on the every other week was painful. When it was Wells Fargo, the people were very nice and kind. Haven't been there since it transitioned and won't ever recommend Flagstar because when I had questions about the acquirement they told me that they couldn't speak to me, that I had to leave, and that I couldn't ask them any questions regarding the change.
