HinesJun 11, 20255.0Awesome — they completed my title transfer with total ease … after a solid month of confusion with the SOS (and then the first appointment was Jun 20 … that’s right — I don’t care you can go to the damn DMV site at 6am to see if any addl appointments were available). It’s a sin that I live less than a mile from a DMV and I incur a total FUBAR with the SOS and have to go to the currency exchange. ANYONE WITH ANY DMV BUSINESS .. GO TO THIS CURRENCY EXCHANGE!!! Superstar - gold / platinum 6 star service!!
- JKJeff KarlovichOct 20, 20184.0Their business hours are excellent, they open earlier & close later than all other banks Ive ever dealt with. Their staff is very helpful, kind, courteous, and nice to deal with. The only complaint I have and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because their check cashing fees & rates are pretty high. For example: I took my payroll check there once & the fee was approx. $30 to cash a $1,050 PAYROLL check. Over the course of a year, thats a lot of money wasted - around $800 per year (about a full week & a half's worth of work for me...just to cash my paychecks). I know they have to make money on the services that they offer, but with how busy they usually are, that check cashing fee should be no more than half of what it is now (it's currently between 2.50% to 3% depending the amount). If you dont have a bank account or cant get one, I would still recommend Villa Oaks Currency Exchange for all the reasons previously listed & Ive never had any problems there and Ive been a customer for going on 5 years now.
