- SSStephanie SkrommeOct 4, 20241.0I have dealt with 5 banks in the past month since my dad’s passing. Heartland bank has been the worst and hardest to deal with. Every time I go in there they have to “review” documents even though I have legal signed under oath paperwork from our attorney that is needed. I understand them wanting to protect themselves but there were excessive with their requests (even our attorney agrees this was not necessary of them). I will never bank with them or recommend anyone too. Much easier and friendly banks out there.
