- DMDebbie MDec 11, 20251.0I am very upset with the Bank in Midlothian I just found out today that the have been taking $5 out a month for the past 6 months from my checking account bcause they said its dormant which is BS Nobody from this bank ever sent me a letter that my account was dormant which is against the law I tried thier 1800 number but they don't know what is going on and didn't know what to do how can you take money from someones account without notifying them so they can take care of it this Bank is horrible hopefully someone answers the phone in Midlothinan tomorrow NOT HAPPY!
- JRJodi ReimerSep 16, 20255.0I don't know why the bad reviews for this bank. My husband and I had an excellent experience with elizabeth(lizzie) is what she goes by. She was prompt courteous and very attentive to our needs and asked for assistance from the other banker and our issue was resolved perfectly and we felt like we mattered as customers and as people they wanted to do business with. We were working with another old national bank for.months trying to resolve our issue and they just didn't seem to care and gave us the run around each time. I would highly recommend people going to the midlothian branch. I can't guarantee you will have a great experience like we did because things happen that can affect a person's day but we are all human and we need to understand life happens and it's hard to separate personal from professional anyways I hope people give this bank a try and leave a rating if they have a great experience because to me Lizzie and the other banker really seemed to care about us and I don't want their service to go unnoticed. So thank you again. We will be back.

- JWjohn winkleOct 22, 20221.0ONB has a ridiculous policy for stop payment on checks. I had two checks stolen from a mailbox and came in to place stop payment orders on both. There is a fee per check that they did waive this time as I had a police report number. Unfortunately ONB will only stop payment for 6 months then you have to continue renewing every 6 months. Its almost as if ONB is helping the criminals. What a scam. Other banks charge you once and the check is no good, apparently ONB found a way to bring in extra money by allowing stop payment checks to become active again. This is an exceptionally poor way to do business and is in effect punishing customers that have been victimized. Customer service was also unhelpful on their phone line as after asking to speak to someone about this policy I was put on hold for over an hour before I hung up. Way to go ONB, nice way to show you care for your customers.
