Banking with Illinois Bank and trust is like driving a car that constantly needs an oil change. It’s always in the shop for maintenance and updates. During these maintenance phases, customers can’t view or reach a representative about their available balances. Business owners don’t like to be in the dark about their money… EVER! This happens way too often. It’s unacceptable! We have multiple accounts and need to open a few more. But, we are taking our business elsewhere. The app is terrible. It’s 2022, get a refresh button so we don’t have to log out and log back in to see changes! And a notification system that doesn’t manipulate the interface. Transactions that are in a pending state stay that way all weekend unless it’s a holiday. Then it’s longer. Again, it’s 2022. Why hasn’t anyone thought of a secured computer program that can reconcile instantly and 24/7? It would be greatly appreciated to automate that instead of the phones. It’s essential to have an operator when we call. Most customers call for time sensitive unique issues. If there’s not a prompt for a specific issue, we are on the phone for several minutes trying to figure out how to talk to a real person. An operator would be able to direct a customer faster than any automated phone system. We understand the phone system is “cheaper” than a person, but it stifles customer service. Our personal request, daily transfers. To do a daily transfer, one must set up seven weekly transfers. It can take up to a couple hours just to change an amount on these transfers mostly because the app is too corky. There’s major improvements that need to be done and no one can do anything about it. We are customers and we’re tired of waiting to be heard. The app programmers only think about themselves and do not care about the customers. The tellers and bankers we deal with are great. This bank can be great if the tellers that listen to our concerns are empowered enough to make changes for their customers. All IB&T branches were closed today. So, who loses? The customer. No cash in and no cash out. Our business is rapidly growing and this bank won’t be a part of it.

I go in there and everything is drawn out. The banks app is garbage, and they have found multiple ways to give me fees that were completely unjust. I deposited my check three days ago and the money hasn’t gone through still.
