  TERRIBLE BANK! Never bank with city! My account was closed for absolutely no reason. A few weeks ago I deposited a check into my account; few days later they told me my account would be closed and I would receive a check in the mail within 30-60 days. I have called the fraud department over 10+ times, spoken to multiple supervisors, and called them and they confirmed my check to prove it to be valid (they contacted the issuer of the check to confirm), yet they are still saying it was an executive decision by a higher party and my account could not be reinstated. I need my money as soon as possible, my rent is due and I've been a customer for over 5+ years. Across various online posts, hundreds of users report the same thing happening. Please google this before opening an account at Citibank and see the horror stories yourself! I might get evicted from my house. There are also several major news articles reporting on this issue, and I'm writing this review because this is COMPLETE FRAUD! Never go with citi bank, they will steal your money!

  I want to extend my sincere appreciation for the incredible service I received at this Lombard branch. After being introduced to the branch manage, Jalapa Patel by Raluca, I was blown away by the level of dedication and professionalism they both demonstrated. Jalapa spent nearly two hours working through a complex issue with the fraud department, and she never once lost her composure or showed signs of frustration. She accepted the challenge head-on and remained calm, focused, and supportive throughout the entire process. Her willingness to put in the time and effort to ensure everything was resolved truly went above and beyond my expectations. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal, this experience stood out as a reminder of what true commitment to clients looks like. Everyone at this office were outstanding and professional . Although this isn’t my local office due to the quality of customer care I don’t mind the travel to get any of my banking needs completed. Thank you again for your outstanding support!

  Worst bank ever and worst services they just fooled customers in their lucrative offer & just come up with some rule which will ruin all your saving
