- DGDiana GoergenNov 13, 20254.0Stopped in the Darien branch at 8301 South Cass Ave. to set up a transfer account from Evergreen Bank to Old Second. The tellers were not helpful and even recommended me to travel to a sister branch in Hinsdale that was a previous Evergreen bank. Wouldn’t the Darien branch have access to my account since both banks are now Old Second? They verified the purchase of Evergreen Bank and access to view my account. Further tellers explained bankers were with clients and the wait time was unknown as clients had appointments. Kent Keller AVP Manager stepped out of his office and offered help. No way could I have just downloaded the Old Second App and seen my new account with this new bank. Kent had to give me a temporary user and password access to set up the account. Within 15 minutes I was all set. He demonstrated excellent customer service. This would be a 1 star review ,but Kent’s intervention resulted in a very positive result and service. Thank you Kent.
