- AAAleksandraDec 1, 20231.0I'd give them zero stars at this location which is local to us, but I'll be kind and give a star for Sarah (forgot her last name). Blondish lady, she switched her position and is unfortunately not in the front anymore. Now to the point and I'll be rude as this is not the first time we are having an issue. People at this location are untrained, unprofessional, and defensive. Customer service Zero! My husband did a wire transfer to Europe and it needed to be converted to Euros, so the recipient can receive in Euros, not USD! Anyway, the incompetent lady proceeds to say "I know what he told me and he didn't say in Euros". My husband did say EUROS, and him being very aware and through in what he says - I believe him! This was an urgent matter and when she was told to cancel it, she said she can't "it's sent". When I told her that they can't receive USD, all she said was "Uh oh Uh oh". You need to train your people at this location, train them to have the knowledge for the job they do - and customer service training is apparently needed too! Every time we go, they have no idea how to do it!

I went into the Coal City,IL branch office and had the pleasure of speaking with TODD OVERCASH. I was having an issue with my mortgage lender and addressed this with Todd, and even thou it wasn't an issue with First Midwest he took the time to help resolve my issue and explain a few thing that I feel will help me in the future. Having such a positive experience with Todd has made me really consider looking at possibly refinancing with First Midwest bank. I will truly remain a customer as long as Todd is there to take the time to help someone with the hardship that covid-19 has caused. I hope first Midwest truly appreciates Todd and his fellow employees.
