  Worst experience of 'Banking while Black', can be found at this branch. I went to this location to conduct business banking for my companies before a client meeting nearby. The manager Sandra is overtly racist and engages in discriminatory behavior towards those of color. I will be filing a formal complaint with Wintrust Bank, IN PERSON, and Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. As a licensed professional, with a fiduciary duty to the Health, Welfare, and Safety, of the public, this banks ambassador FAILED to maintain the welfare of the Public.

  I want to thank Saundra the Branch Manager and Helen the Banker and Ciera call center for going far and beyond helping to assist me with my online banking on Monday and Tuesday I truly appreciate all your help from each you, my hometown bank 32yrs ❤️💯🙏🏽.

  This bank engages in discriminatory practices under the guise of “establishing a relationship.” I recently opened an account online with them to complement my online bank accounts. I came to this branch for a small cash deposit with my US passport card. The teller told me that I would need a different ID going forward, “you won’t believe the type of stuff that people pull.” My debit card had yet to arrive when I wanted to make a withdrawal one week later, so I returned and provided my valid out-of-state driver’s license. The tellers—yes, plural—were suspicious yet again. They questioned my license and as to why I’m withdrawing the same amount I deposited before. In addition to their website having already accepted my license, the tellers had verified my Chicago address and SSN at this point. One of them also made a snide remark as if I was not directly in front of her, “how could you not have an Illinois ID after living here for a year?” In my defense, that’s none of her business. My account has a zero minimum monthly balance. However, the two tellers pressured me to close it following the withdrawal because my balance would have been $0. After they spoke with somebody on the phone, they began encouraging me to keep it open and deposit a couple cents until my direct deposit goes through. After a 40-minute ordeal, these people finally processed a mere $250 withdrawal. This level of disorganization and unprofessional behavior prompted me to close my account; unsurprisingly, they are making me come back next week to close it in-person.

  They have good service quality’s for the customers the bankers are very helpful they make sure any problems are taken care of as soon as Possible. The tellers assist you as soon as they can. Great staff at this location good quality service. 👍
