- JSJessica SosaMay 6, 20251.0Today I went into 10 S Wacker Dr Chicago Il With my two support animals a security guard named Jessie approached me told me I had to leave because no dogs are allowed. I explained to him my dogs are support animals he asked me for documentation, which I told to him that was against the law and ADA. He told me I had to leave I’m so upset with how he treated me and his training in how to deal with people with disabilities. Under the ADA, businesses and public accommodations cannot require documentation or proof that an animal is certified, trained, or licensed as a service animal. They can only ask two questions: 1) Is the animal a service animal required because of a disability? and 2) What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?
