  Unprofessional and rude place I hv ever encountered. I went to cash out my closed-out cheque from Citi bank fraud department. The cashier, big lady, jump on to me and told me I can NOT cash that out bz I don’t hv a Citi account now. Have they even got a proper training ? I called the fraud department and opened a complaint against them . Citi fraud department apologized me and asked me to go to a different branch to cash out the cheque.

  You cant pay credit card balance with cash. BANK DOES NOT TAKE CASH... Since when banks dont take cash.... crazy

  Absolutely the worst bank ever. I came with a simple require to transfer money from one checking account to another. The teller asked me my phone number like 15 times. I told her really slowly each time and she still couldn’t remember 4 numbers. When I went to the banker(older Asian woman) and asked her to transfer money from one checking account to another, she started telling me above my credit card, looking at my payments on the credit card, checking on the checking balance from years ago, mumbling some numbers, making smirks… she looked like she was out of it. Then she proceeded to yell: “Aha, that’s what it is” , “oh, I see what you did there”. Her eyes were bugging out of her head like she was possessed. When I asked she what is she talking about, she proceeded to ignore me like I didn’t existed and wouldn’t answer any of my questions. Then proceeded to call somebody without my permission and said that they need to verify me and she needs to see my ID. I said that I don’t have any documentation on me (because my friend drove me there and I didn’t expect that I would need any documentation except my debit card). She said that there is nothing left to do for her and that I need my bring documentation to that specific branch of Citi. She even refused to give me a phone number to that specific department she called (even though I asked her like 3 times) and said that it would be impossible to verify my identity over the phone. I didn’t want to make a scene, said thank you and goodbye. She didn’t respond and just stayed silent this whole time. Well, guess what… I called the customer service and they were able to verify me over the phone with no issues. She was rude and very unprofessional and I hope she will get fired. I closed my account and would recommend to stay away from Citi bank and this branch specifically.

  We had gone to Citi in Buffalo Grove Branch which i had made the appointment and when we went there, they did not have the appointment for us, than finally a lady whom i was suppose to speak to, she took us in but she was very much interested in going to feed my starving children event. She roughly took care of us and said that she will email the information to the owner and till today we have not receive anything from her. This is a very poor service specially when the person is in a big post. This is totally not acceptable. Today i tried calling them several times and everytime i call they are busy. The service is really very poor.

  Great service! Very minimum amout of wait even without appointment! Friendly staff members and Branch Manager! Love it. I would recommend others! A+
