- ARAngie ReynaSep 9, 20251.0I’m sharing my experience for anyone considering opening a credit card account with this credit union—please look for better options. I initially opened a card to help build my credit, but unfortunately, it ended up making my credit worse. It took them forever to even mail me the card, and once I finally received it, I was already struggling to make payments. After just the first month, I decided to cancel the card and requested a refund of my deposit. That process took even more time, and I only just received the check today. To make matters worse, they wouldn’t even cash the check properly. Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. I highly recommend that you do NOT open a credit card here—save yourself the headache and look for more reliable financial institutions.
