P1FCU is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative. We have grown to now serve members in 19 counties in Idaho, 8 counties in Oregon and the entire state of Washington. We were organized by a group of individuals with the desire to make lending more readily available for employees of Potlatch Forests, Inc. Over 80 years later we are staying true to our organizational values while servicing members in a tri-state region.

- JPJoshua Pannell2 days ago1.0Hard to get in touch with someone to get help with any loans they expect everything to be done online. And u get no real explanations as to denials and almost impossible to build any kind of credit or report with them
- CEConnor ElaineJan 4, 20261.0I’m on my 5th year of banking with them, and am about you take all my money out and close my account. Their fraud center is a joke, if anything happens to your card on a Saturday evening, you get to just watch your bank account dwindle to zero! Robot voice assistant won’t connect me to anyone in fraud center. Calling to dispute account charges results in having to leave a voicemail and wait until Monday! The last time I had this issue, we had to get a new debit card sent. That took two weeks, and it was held hostage by UPS because apparently they can’t deliver the card to the P1FCU office on Fairmount??? Also, if you have a credit card with them, and request a credit limit increase, you have to call, request it, and someone has to call you back. Then, waiting for a week and a half before someone gets around to calling you! But only Monday-Friday 8-5 with a lunch hour that directly corresponds with your work hours so you can never call them back. I used to love the small town feel to this credit union, but it’s becoming glaring why some things need to be large corporations so that there is accessibility beyond their standard office hours. I am beyond frustrated with them.

Probably saved some money, but calling the general number is useless. I used to call my local branch and I LOVED IT!
- LRLaurie RussellNov 7, 20252.0Over all my experience with P1FC is OK. But I'm currently really frustrated with my new debit card. I had fraudulent activity on my checking and savings account, which P1FCU handled ok. But obviously I needed a new debit card, this is my third debit card I've had in the 3 years I've been banking with P1FCU. I also have a Boeing credit union account, but I wanted a local credit union so I'm not having to run to Spokane for in person banking. But here's the frustration. P1FCU doesn't make you a new debit card on the spot they have to mail it to you. I believe it took 12 days to get my new debit card and get it activated, which in my opinion is a long time to be without my main source of payment. I'm not cash person I like my quick payments with a card. Of course I couldn't activate it by phone because my partner is the owner and his number is tied to the account (or at least I'm guessing that why I couldn't activate by phone) . So another pointless trip to the bank. But my new cards chip is defective and EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I go to pay it's chip malfunction..chip malfunction. chip malfunction until the point of sale machine will finally will let me swipe. So I guess I need a new debit card again. So 2 weeks with no card again. At this point I'm thinking BECU is the way to go and BECU pays better interest too.
