    I'm sadden at the lack of customer service & professionalism that was provided to me by the Ketchum Branch today, 7/24/2025 at 10am. I've been banking with Washington Federal since they took over from Bank of America in 2006. Up until now, I've always felt that WAFed has provided great service, even so much so that I even worked for WAFed (Hailey Branch). I called today to speak with someone regarding an insufficient fund charge. When I called, Martin Millard, answered the phone. When I asked if he could assist me with that, he said no, and that I would need to speak with a manager. So I followed up with, "May I speak with one of your managers then?". He said no, and that they were out of the office at the moment. I then asked, what time they might be back in the office so I can call back at that time. He said that he didn't know. He then said to send an email regarding what I needed help with and that the managers would get back to me quicker. How will they respond quicker if they aren't in the office?! Martin was unprofessional, not very nice or kind, and couldn't help me with answers to basic questions, like, as to when his manager (Jeff Carlquist) OR assistant manager (Jaime Riggin) would be back in office. I will be removing my funds from this Branch as I feel completely disregarded as a client. Why would I want this as my home branch, if this is the way that I'm being treated?!

    I guess I have always assumed that one bank is pretty much the same as another. I mean: how different can they be? But the Ketchum Branch of Washington Federal Bank is making me reconsider! Deysi and Ana are so helpful and personal: they have really gone the extra mile for me over the last year or two in helping me sort out some fussy financial affairs. They are great … and this bank branch seems to be great!

    I love walking into this branch and seeing all the happy and welcoming faces! I’ve been to other branches in Idaho and none have compared! Five starts!

    The Ketchum Office of Washington Federal is truly the best. They are always available to answer any and every question. Eric and his team always attend with a smile!

    For a regional bank of modest size WaFed offers unusually careful and complete customer care. If the “Bigs” (B of A, Wells,) don’t have a product, they just invent one to fit. It’s a wonderful luxury but not available in every market. I like the WaFed recipe better since it is so transparent and actually based on diligence and hard work. Here are five stars for the good folks at WaFed!
