    I called their branch last week. I'm a local business owner seeking a bank to help us with an operating line of credit and to look at some expansion opportunities and finance options. They invited me to lunch on a Tuesday and we had what I thought was a great first meeting over lunch. I’m writing this first review on the Thursday afternoon following our lunch meeting, a few hours before they close. At lunch I met their branch manager, Pam, and a regional manager visiting, Reid. Pam committed to providing me information in an email later on Tuesday. I called the bank this morning and requested a call back. I have also emailed Pam myself requesting more information and what documents and info they would like from me. I’ve received no email back and no phone call back either. Maybe I can reach them by leaving an honest review. Thanks for the free lunch but I’m a busy man, I don’t like it when others waste my time. Update: I received a call right before they closed on Thursday and Pam left me a voicemail. To my surprise she doesn't think we are a good fit and they won't or aren't interested in pursuing our relationship further. She wished me the best of the luck in the voicemail, which I guess means she doesn't have any way to help our business, which I find funny because she never asked for any tax returns, bank statements, personal financial checks, etc. She literally didn't know anything about me yet and I guess I ruined any chances I had to work with WaFD when I went to lunch with them... At lunch she said they have a line of credit up to 400k with "stated income" only during our lunch meeting and talked a big game for WaFD wanting to support more small business in Idaho. I don't know if I said something wrong or because I didn't like what I ordered for lunch and didn't eat much of it that I offended them or something weird but I don't think I will consider WaFD in the future as a bank partner. I plan to continue to expand our business, start new ventures as opportunities arise and acquire opportunities in our community that help support our community. I will look into other financial institutions in the area that will respect my ideas enough to request my financial documentation before taking me to lunch and wasting my time with fake promises over pleasantries. Thank you again for lunch but I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and respect shown to myself and I hope you don't do this often so the bank will pay for your lunch.
