- LSLevi Sowers4 days ago1.0I am writing to voice my displeasure with First Interstate Bank in Perry Iowa. They treat their elderly customers as objects to be thrown out in to the trash. My father and mother had an account at this bank for many years. Unfortunately my father went into the nursing home over the past year and had his SS and retirement go into this account. There were problems with my mother and ability to access this account Instead of helping their customers out, they constantly ignored our needs and cancelled my Father's account without any reason leaving my father without an account for his social security check to be deposited into. His inability to have his check deposited into his former First Interstate bank account now threatens his nursing home payments. I called and complained to them but they just really do not care. I would highly recommend taking your banking business away from this bank and to one of the other local banks in Perry.
