They have too many requirements and restrictions. 1) They do not accept checks over $2,500 making it useless for VA disability checks, mortgage refund checks, earnest money, etc. 2) They do not accept government checks from the Treasury at all like IRS or VA checks. 3) You have to write “Hickam FCU Mobile Deposit Only” and the date of “deposit” on the check making it useless when they do accept the check. Unreliable. I will be going through USAA from now on.

- LVLT VanceAug 15, 20171.0Worst experience with a credit union. Customer service is awful. The staff is uneducated and useless. I highly suggest you find another bank to manage your finances. They try to assess members with ridiculous fees and surcharges. I had to contact them multiple times for inaccurate fees which is mind blowing. USAA, Navy, Air Force, and Wells Fargo are just a few other financial institutions available. I do NOT recommend Navy federal.
