If you get a wire transfer make sure you call in and double check to make sure that the bank actually cleared the wire transfer, otherwise five days later you will find out that the money never came through because it’s the client’s job to double check and call the bank of Hawaii and request that they actually processed the wire transfer and don’t just leave it sitting in limbo for five days. Otherwise you won’t get your money because this bank requires the clients to double check that the wire transfers are processed and actually deposited in their clients’ accounts. To clarify, I called the bank today, and they told me that they could see the wires on their end, but that nobody had processed them or deposited the funds in my account, and they could not answer when the funds would’ve been processed if I had not called in and sat on hold for half an hour. Just be mindful that this bank expects you to work for them and do their jobs for them free of charge if you are one of their clients. This has happened with three wire transfers now that have not come in, every other wire transfer that I’ve ever had in my entire life cleared if not immediately then at least within the next couple hours, this is the only Bank I have ever experienced where we receive a wire and five days later we have to call in ourselves and ask them to process it and deposit it in our account, and they’re only response will be “oh sorry yeah that happens sometimes”

It took me 30 min to make a deposit with 2 people before me, the cashiers are slow like a snail and don’t really care if people wait. Won’t recommend it at all.
