I would like to commend Stone for his perseverance in contacting me numerous times regarding my documents to pick up and not giving up until I finally answered his call. The number he was calling from said spam risk and that is why I did not answer. After he left a message I realized it was a legit call. I really appreciate him and knowing what a commendable Bank of Hawaii employee he is. Thank you Stone!

I went to deposit coins and bills. But the female teller at the counter didn't count the coins herself. If they only accept bills, why do banking? Aren't coins money? I think the bank tellers are too lazy. I had a very unpleasant experience today. This bank is not good.

BAD BAD BAD !
They only cater to a certain group of clients. They are only nice to selected group of people. I made a mistake of giving them my money. They don't send me my monthly statements and BLOCK me from getting it on-line. They block my password and user ID. They won't let me sign up for a new user ID account. They are bossy and rude to me. They make demands that they know are impossible to fulfill. They lie to me all the time. This particular elderly Filipino female teller there always gave me a hard time. Too bad I don't know her name. All the other branches are also have at least several bad ones they never terminate. So I quit going there for the past 20 years. The world should know. Thanks to google.

Polite staff but a bit clueless. One employee tells us it's possible to remove a person from an account, then next employee tells us we have to close the account and reopen to remove a person. Teller lines are okay, the desk waiting times are ridiculous.
Online banking improved a whole lot lately.

Nora (from Lebanon I think?) was the biggest help to me today! She helped me apply for the Hawaiian Airlines MasterCard, and switch my Ease Account to a better checking account.
She was so personable and helpful for every step of the way. I wouldn’t know what I did if it weren’t for her. I am so happy it’s my visit today and thought that her outstanding work was worth recognition! Thanks Nora!
